REUNION  2003 The Descendants of Petra Alvarez & Jose "Chepo" Hernandez

The reunion was held Sunday, August 31st, at Victor Park in Harlingen.  Approximately 150 family members were in attendance.  Food and fun were in abundance.  Guests enjoyed a variety of barbequed meats along with side dishes and various desserts.  Activities included awards, games, a drawing for photo and genealogy posters, volley ball, and plenty of conversation.

Two posters were raffled. One contained genealogical information for Petra Alvarez's ancestors.  The other contained old photographs of the Hernandez family.  The winner was Lupe Hernandez.
